I’ve got to say here at AX Paris we’ve all suffering with serious cases of “Coral Love”, we’ve decided to embrace the bright side!! And why not, If it’s good enough for the likes of Beyonce and Eva Longoria it’s definitely good enough for us!

As you savvy sexy ladies are aware, this summer is all about the florals.   From the likes of Black Eyed Peas Fergie, Kelly Osbourne to Cameron Diaz, everyone seems to have embraced the flower power prints of this summer.

Ok so we haven’t had much of a summer so far this year but we can hope and definitely don’t let that little detail stop you!  And there’s always sunnier shores where we can escape to if we’re lucky enough but wherever you are this is such an easy trend to wear, whatever you size and shape there’s something out there to suit everyone.

Floral smock tops and tunics look great teamed with leggings or skinny jeans and hid all the lumps, bumps and sins from the chocolate fudge cake that you indulged in the night before!

The sexy little floral print dresses, be them pencil or tulip are great all rounders for a night out with the girls, a summer wedding or a sophisticated day out at the races.  Or like me who’s sick of black black and more black these tropical prints make a refreshing change from the doom and gloom of the past few months.

You know what they say “you are what you wear” so get shopping and get youself some happy summer vibes bagged! Ciao for now x

Saying that I would advise you to stay away from the floral pantsuit sported by Katy Perry recently, some things are just wrong and this is one of them! x

The girlie ruffles are gone, the shoulder pads never came back out of the closet but lace has emerged as one of the biggest trends this winter.

Featuring heavily in all the major catwalk shows and within the collections of the big design house, each designer had their own unique take on trend. 

Prada interpreted the look with soft feminine silhouettes, Stella McCartney chose pretty and demure, while Givenchy and Balmain’s collections were hard edged and dramatically gothic. 

But whichever look you choose for yourself, lace adds a sexy feminine twist to even the most boring items of clothing.   It’s sophisticated, elegant and incredibly seductive, so grab the heels and the lip gloss then let your imagination run wild….   X
